Question - When trying to separate benzoin and 1,4-dibromobenzene we used hot methanol as the solvent. When the solid had dissolved, it was cooled in an ice bath until precipitate formed and then centrifuged in a craig tube. Would the 1,4-dibromobenzene precipitate out or remain in the liquid and pass out of the craig tube during centrifugation?
