You work in the Urban Resilience Planning Department and your director would like a report on global emerging threats. Your director is particularly interested in the environment but understands there may be other emerging threats that need to be considered. Your team is based in (choose one location): Singapore; Kuala Lumpur; Bangkok; Phnom Penh; or Jakarta. The report should include (ensure no overlap in your examples):

1. Define global emerging threats. Describe five global emerging threats and analyse why they should be considered as emerging threats.

2. Examine the existing threats in your chosen location. Analyse and provide five examples of how climate change can impact the existing threats you have identified in your chosen location.

3. Formulate your plan to assess which are the possible emerging threats for your location. What steps will you take to achieve this ? Identify how you will go about engaging with the local community stakeholders to ensure understanding of how the emerging threats were identified and the potential impact on the community. Identify and discuss five key issues you will want to raise in your stakeholder engagement.
