Define ethical thinking

If someone told me to define ethical thinking, I would say that ethical thinking has to do with an individuals morals. Often times ethical thinking is associated with the 'right' thing to do and also decision making. Ethical thinking is not only in professional jobs but also in our daily tasks. In a profession, ethical thinking is used for example, if someone was in a near death situation and doctors and nurses had to use their best decision making to decide what to do next. In our daily lives it might be more simpler, like getting asked a question from our professor in class and having to make a decision based off of our morals. One persons ethical thinking may be very different from another persons.

Based on what I have learned thus far, I see strengths and weaknesses in myself when it comes to ethical thinking. My strengths would be thinking of possible outcomes. If I find myself in a tough situation where I am not sure how to react, I think/write pros and cons of possible outcomes. This helps me come up with a final decision. Thinking about something before you do it is so important to me. My weakness would be getting offended by someone else's opinion (depending on what it is). I'm a very stubborn person so hearing someone's opinion that could defer form my own can be very hard for me to hear.
