Is it because no recent studies have looked into the issue and thus the issue was only investigate long time ago (time gap?) Or is it because the are insufficient cases investigated in developing countries and thus makes the existing literature perspectives a bit skewed - only from developed countries (geography gap)? What is the problem here - I only see another section on literature review

You need to have a problem statement that will inform the nature of questions to be posed and addressed. When the questions are addressed, the problem would be addressed as well.

Your objectives should seek to explore the portrayal of Africa by media( Both Chinese and western media) during the covid-19 pandemic. You must equally look at the biasness and stereotypes in the media reporting regarding Africa and how this carries a colonial view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

You need to justify why the use of two theories instead of one and how they advance your study.
