Problem- In the successful synthesis of polymer nylon-6,6 we have used monomers adipoyl chloride (0.5 mL) and 5% aqueous solution of 1,6-hexanediamine (8 mL). We have also used 10 mL of cyclohexane and 8 drops of 25% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. Acyl chlorides are reactive toward water, however in this experiment we successfully prepared the nylon polymer in the presence of water. Why was it possible?
I am need of complete solution for this problem please help- me out to get right solution
