In this part of the report you are required to do two things. You are required to conduct research and produce a report on the role and contribution of the HR professional within organisations and how the CIPD's Profession Map helps to define this.
You should then produce a report of approximately 750 words to cover the following points:
An evaluation of what it means to be an HR professional in the contemporary and emerging business environment. (AC1.1) (approx 200 words)
The range of knowledge, skills and behaviours required by HR professionals and stating why these are important (use the terminology from the CIPD Profession Map and illustrate with examples as appropriate). (AC1.1) (approx 350 words)
How the CIPD Profession Map is used to define and evaluate what HR professional do. (AC1.1) (approx 200 words)
In addition to the above, in a short paragraph, briefly describe how you will transfer the new knowledge and skills gained during this assignment into working practices. (approx 200 words)
You should also include 3-5 references from up to date and relevant sources in order to support your findings.
