Description
The assignment addresses your understanding of management, of leadership, and your ability to articulate examples of each, both good and bad.
Questions you are to answer
Based on the course readings and materials, your own external scholarly research, and your thoughts and analysis, answer the following in paragraph form. 400 words each is average (C level work).
Question I
1. Define and describe what is meant by management.
2. Describe the characteristics of management.
3. Using your own experience (e.g., work, volunteer, athletics, home, etc.):
a. Give an example of good management.

1. Define and describe what is meant by leadership.
2. Describe the characteristics of leadership.
3. Using your own experience (e.g., work, volunteer, athletics, home, etc.), or using public figures:
a. Give an example of good leadership.
b. Give an example of bad leadership.
For the best results, do the following;
1. Conduct your own external scholarly research on Management and Leadership and review the lecture slides and your notes.
2. You must have a minimum of two outside sources (scholarly articles) in addition to course materials.
