Topic: African American LGBTQ Families: At the Intersection of Race, Sexual Orientation, Gender and Social Class

While living at the intersection of systemsof oppression defined by race, sexual orientation, gender and social class, African American LGBTQ families face challenges, as well as prospects, that White LGBTQ families may not. African American LGBTQ families, like all families, want equal opportunities to provide stable homes, to ensure economic stability, and to raise children who become integral parts of their community.

Write 10 pages paper that includes in your responses a discussion of the intersectionality of race, sexual orientation, gender or social class as these constructs relate to the statements and/or questions below.
