Course Description

This course will provide students with the key fundamental concepts of Business Process Modeling (BPM). This course provides an initial foundation of knowledge, which prepares the student for advanced Business Process Modeling topics. The course shall further discuss the values of modeling business process.

Course Objectives

The objectives of this course are to,

•  Introduce students to the fundamental concepts of business process modeling

•  Teach students the best methods building business models through data flow context diagrams

•  Introduce students to the designed model best on the business requirements of an organization and individuals

Expected Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to,

• Define a business process model giving industrial examples

• Explain the process involved in business modeling

• Transform the business processes into context diagrams and data flow diagram
