Global Worker: Hal Yamashita (Japan Executive Chef)
As a group, you will be required to wear two hats. First, you will be required to imagine that you are your chosen global worker at a point in his/her career trying to negotiate a compensation package with your employer in the host country. Second, since negotiation is a two-way process, you will be required to imagine that you are the global HR manager who has put together a package for the global worker.
Question i) As a global worker: A list of costs and benefits that might accrue to you if your preferred compensation package is offered (note that even in the most preferred relocation package, there are some costs that may be incurred). Ensure providing a justification for each cost and benefit listed in order to defend the requested compensation package.
