During this week you have looked at tablescapes. You know just about everything you need to know to successfully choose your decorations, colors and theme. Describe how you are going to decorate your venue for your event “The Oktoberfest”. As you work through the process of visualizing your event, look at site decorations, venue decorations, summer, winter, fall or spring decorations. Pinterest is a fun place to collect your ideas and pin them to boards for future reference. Your tablescape decorations, wall, chair, ceiling, whatever you are going to decorate should all work together with your theme.

This should be fun! Be creative! Let everything go to the wind, take risks, and do whatever you want to do. I can visualize women with frills, unique colors and surrounded by elaborate decorations. I can see the men after a sports event, like a gala after the World Series, Super Bowl, Master’s Golf Tournament, awards dinner with first prize to the one that caught the biggest fish! You can do any type of event that you can imagine. Go with this and have some fun! Remember, Event Management is about the leader, you, making all the big decisions and making it happen. A good manager can use their leadership skills in any field or career. You just “have” the leadership, so show me!
