Kyrgyzstan (KG). Nadir is a famous surgeon in KG. A woman named Medine approaches Nadir to abort her fetus. Such topics as women's right and pregnancy termination are amongst the most sensitive topics in this country. The social opinion on the issue of abortion is divided into two groups: liberalist and conservative views. The conservative people (rightists) regard human life to be sacred and see abortion to be wrong and sinful. The liberals, however, who are known to be "pro-choice activists" unlike rightists who are religious and "pro-life activists", strongly believe and advocate the notion that it is women's free will to decide whether to terminate or continue their pregnancy and not a matter of religious norms or societal policy.

As a right-to-life advocate, Nadir believed that abortion was wrong, even in order to save the mother's life. So, Nadir refuses to perform an abortion for Medine. Since Medine had faith in Nadir's skills, she decides reluctantly to go to another clinic.

After a couple of years, Medine is pregnant again and this time she is diagnosed with cancer and goes to Nadir for an operation. He agrees to perform a hysterectomy (surgical removal of the uterus) on Medine although the fetus might die in the process.

Question: Do you think that Nadir's decisions show his moral inconsistency? Is his action was morally right or wrong, and why? Use relevant Ethical principle(s)/theories to fully justify your answer(s). Irrelevant answers yield no points.
