Initially, wage rates for your firm are below average for the local community. Decisions concerning the level of wages and benefits are not traditionally the sole responsibility of a HR Director. However, the CEO has given you the responsibility of making these decisions. Wage changes are limited to 10% each quarter. Increases count against your budget only the quarter they're made. Subsequently, the firm takes on the additional labor cost. Your firm pays Level 1 employees hourly; other employees are salaried.
