An unstrained horizontal spring has a length of 0.32 m and a spring constant of 330 N/m. Two small charged objects are attached to this spring, one at each end. The charges on the objects have equal magnitudes. Because of these charges, the spring stretches with 0.021 m relative to its unstrained length. Decide (a) the possible algebraic signs and (b) the magnitude of the charges.

Phase difference problem : 90 degrees or 1.5708 radians. If the two microphones were at the same distance from the speaker, the two signals would be in phase: they would lie on top of each other. For the phase dissimilarity shown, what is the minimum distance flanked by the tw..
Determine the value of acceleration in the time interval : A car is traveling on a straight road and always heads in the same direction. The car starts from rest, undergoes constant acceleration for (tau) seconds to reach a velocity of 45 m/s, and travels afterward at this constant velocity of 45 m/s.
Discover the angle and the tension in the wire : A small spherical insulator of mass 3.34 × 10-2 kg and charge +0.600 C is hung by a thin wire of negligible mass. A charge of -0.900 C is held 0.150 m away from the sphere and directly to the right of it, so the wire makes an angle by the vertical (s..
Magnitude of the force that each sphere experiences : Two tiny conducting spheres are identical and carry charges of -23.9C and +40.6C. They are separated by a distance of 3.63 cm. (a) what is the magnitude of the force that each sphere experiences?

How many electrons make up the final charge on each object : Four identical metallic objects carry the following charges: +1.36, +6.10, -4.24, and -9.34C. The objects are brought concurrently into contact, so that each touches the others. Then they are separated.
What is the exact volume of the lampshade : A traditional lampshade is a truncated cone, or frustum. It is a cone that is missing the pointed end. The lampshade shown below has a large diameter of 18 inches, a small diameter of 10 inches, and a height of 10 inches. If it had the pointed end, i..
