Scenario: Daycare Center Relocation
A day care owner needs to relocate their daycare center. The center keeps the ages (6months – 6yrs). The current center has three thousand (3,000) square feet. This includes four (4) bedrooms, three (3) baths, kitchen, a den, a screen-in patio (600 sq. ft.) and a covered front porch. The four (4) bedrooms are all used as class rooms. The den is used as a play area and sleep area (1600 sq. ft.). There is a fenced back yard (1000 sq. ft.). The new center has twenty-five hundred (2,500) square feet but has room for the center to expand fifteen-hundred sq. ft. It has three (3) bedrooms, two (2) baths, kitchen, a den, and un- screened-in patio (400 sq. ft.). There is an unfenced back yard (2000 sq. ft.). The owner wants the new property to accommodate everything the old property had. She wants a three (3) month turn-key move-in ready new daycare center. The owner hires you as the project manager.
