A box office cashier requires us to rely on a lot of data. We build shows based on previous sales; therefore, we pull reports that gives us the financial data we need to proceed with pricing for the next show. When we obtain data from our ticket sales program, it shows us how many seats are still available. This data also reveals the exact seat locations which is helpful when customers want to sit in a certain area. We collected data on our customers using the three major credit bureaus, Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Collecting this data allowed us to take a small peek into a customer's financial history. This us determine the amount of credit we were able to offer them based of their DTI (Debt To Income ratio). We also used GPS tracking devices on the vehicle. These devices came with a starting disabled feature. We used software to collect data of the last known locations of the vehicle as well as current location. As you may have figured out, this data was crucial in helping with repossessions. One data analysis tool I would like to have in my current role in sales or a tool that depicts.
