Work Sampling

You have the following data from a work sampling study conducted by a co-worker. There were eight operators sampled and the sampling was done over two eight-hour days (16 hours/operator).In this two-day period there were 200 products produced. Work using a drill press is one task that these eight operators perform one time on each completed part. The supervisor says that these all of these operators should receive a 110% performance rating and the PFD allowance for this department is 12%. Each operator was sampled 80 times and the number of times that drilling operation was observed was as follows:Operator 1 – 10 times; Operator 2 – 14 times; Operator 3 – 12 times; Operator 4 – 9 times; Operator 5 – 17 times; Operator 6 – 13 times; Operator 7 – 11 times; Operator 8 – 12 times.What is the standard time for the drilling operation for this product?
