Daniel is trying to convince his supervisor to give him an extra day off for the holidays so that he can spend more time with his family. He knows that it will be difficult to persuade his supervisor, though. The holidays are busy, and they usually need everyone to work overtime. Which of the following is appropriate and would help Daniel persuade his audience? Although I know that the holidays are a busy time for us, we will still have full coverage because we have two new personnel working in my department. Not giving me extra time would be cruel and unusual punishment. If you do not give me extra vacation time, it means that you are a terrible person. You give everyone else more vacation time than me. It is not fair, and everyone notices. If you do not approve my days, I am going to HR.
