The daily temperature swings on the surface of Mars (as measured by the Mars Rover) is 80-90 C°--if the daytime high is 20°C, the nighttime low is around -65°C. We don't have such wide daily fluctuation here on Earth. Which of the following best explains our comparatively stable surface temperatures?
