This Assignment is about the development of an information governance and cyber security policy for a chosen organisation, accompanied by a report justifying the policy and recommending an implementation strategy. The combined word length will be 4000 words. It will be worth 100% of the module marks and will assess all of the MLOs. PFJ Bank is of one of the European retail and investment bank headquartered in the UK with operations across Europe. Underpinning the bank is a foundation of stability, security and trust with its client base and all relevant stakeholders to the business. The board of directors and senior management recognise that strong information governance is essential to the successful running of the organisation.
PFJ Bank recognises that it is responsible for large amounts of information including very sensitive and private information and will take all necessary and appropriate steps to safeguard and reduce risk to all information it owns and controls.
PFJ Bank is governed by all UK and EU law as well as local laws within the European countries in which it operates.
Your task is to developan information governance policy for PFJ Bank and write an accompanying report in which you justify the approach and content of the policy, and propose an implementation strategy for the strong governance of information throughout its lifecycle across the PFJ organisation.
