Your client, Gem Killikelly has just called to let you know that she has won $1 million in a lottery. This is a huge windfall for her, since at age 35, she has little savings. Currently Gem works part-time as a waitress, and studies acting in her spare time. She earns a modest income, but now that she has won the lottery she would like to quit her job to pursue a full-time acting career. Jane is not concerned about variations in her portfolio, but she does not really understand investments. What is Gem's investment objective? Time horizon? Risk tolerance?
