As a CFO/ Manager you are currently faced with Sequestration which is making you lose sleep. Unfortunately, you like to enjoy your sleep! The sequestration has compelled you to cut three program management positions because those programs are state and federal government funded and there is no other source to fund the programs. This means, the employees have to lose their jobs with the programs. These three employees are hardworking, loyal and have together generated 3 million dollars within the past 5 years. There are no vacant positions in the organization. You really want to retain the employees who have to support their families. How do you address this?
