Assessment Brief:
Purpose of this Assessment
The purpose of this assessment is to help students demonstrate their understanding of strategy and strategic analysis and the nature of real-world research.
Task Required
Students are required to work in groups of 4 (min) to 5 (max). The task is to undertake a strategic analysis of an organisation of their own choice. Specifically, an evaluation of the organisation's current strategy and recommendations for the future. If resit is required, the task will be individual in the form of a presentation.
Key requirements
The organisation must be agreed with the module leader (week 3/4).
Students will undertake a strategic analysis of the organisation and develop recommendations from the findings of their analysis.
The strategic analysis will incorporate considerations of the conceptual frameworks and analytical tools for strategic analysis
Students will develop a PPT presentation and present for a maximum of 15mins. Each member of the group is required to speak during the presentation.
