We have many labor market indictors that give us a good reading of the job market (strengths and weaknesses).. These indicators include: Jobless Claims, Employment Situation (jobs created and unemployment rate), Challenger Report, Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS), Employment Cost Index, and the ADP National Employment Report.
