  1. Describe the organisation, its core business and its current resource acquisition and reporting procedures.

  3. Identify and document any problem areas such as: bottlenecks, time-wasters, idle or down-time causes, service level limiters, information deficiencies, delayed response times, quality failures in product or service, or other issues that relate to operations.
  4. Identify areas of the business that face potential resource shortages and comment on the possible impact on operations.
  5. Identify any technology that is utilised in the management of resources.
  6. Devise a review strategy that includes:
    1. A consultation process for members of the affected teams/ work group to identify alternative ideas and suggestions for improving the processes and procedures currently used.
    2. Information on the most economical and effective choice of equipment, materials and suppliers.
    3. Techniques to determine future changes in business resource needs.
  7. Suggest some changes that could be made to improve the resource management of this organisation. When suggesting changes to existing policies and procedures comment on how the changes will ensure compliance to:
    1. Organisational requirements.
    2. Health and safety requirements.
    3. Budget constraints.
    4. Time frame constraints.
