First find a current infectious disease news article from an internet news source that was published after April 1, 2020. Choose an internet news article whose focus is infectious disease(s), those directly caused by microbes, that affects humans. Keep in mind that many diseases do not involve microbes, including most cancers, diabetes, heart disease, etc. You may also use articles that discuss treatments (e.g. new antimicrobial drugs or antimicrobial drug resistance) or prevention strategies (e.g. vaccines) for infectious disease or outbreaks of infectious disease. Choose an article that is news, new information with some impact. DO NOT USE: opinion articles, blogs, internet "fact" pages (i.e. Wikipedia, WebMD.com, CDC.gov, etc.), or primary or review articles from medical or microbiology journals (i.e. New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Infectious Disease) since these are not news.
