Johnson & Johnson was mentioned on a 60 Minutes show which aired on October 15 as one of the drug suppliers which has sent excessive amounts of opiate medication to parts of the United States...suggesting that this over supply contributes to our current circumstance of addiction and death. McKesson and Cardinal were also mentioned. They also reported on a Pennsylvania congressman who had sponsored a piece of legislation (which passed) that is hampering the Food and Drug Administration's work to reduce the impact of opiate addiction. President Trump had nominated this congressman to be the next Director of the FDA. The congressman withdrew from consideration last week. As an assignment, please prepare a 2 page report on the apparent conflict between the Johnson & Johnson value statement and the allegation of the aforementioned action.
