Culture-Centered Communication Proposal

Identify a specific health disparity, inequity, or problem for a particular population as well as social policies that have affected the issue, then create an assessment and surveillance proposal that addresses it. The proposal should include the following:

  • Title page.
  • Table of contents.
  • Abstract.
    • Limit your abstract to 3-10 sentences.
    • Briefly focus on the a) problem necessitating the proposal, b) your suggested solution, and c) the benefits derived once your proposal is implemented.
  • Introduction.
    • Purpose: in 1-3 sentences, tell your readers the reason for your proposal. Explain why you are writing and what you hope to achieve.
    • Problem.
  • Discussion (the body of the proposal).
  • Conclusion and recommendation.
  • Reference page.

Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.

APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA (6th Edition) style and formatting.

Length of paper: Minimum of 15 typed double-spaced pages, excluding front material and any appendices.
