Test of general Reasoning Ability has a limited (16 min) time period to perform the test. If someone is not familiar with one of the words in the question, whether that be due to exposure or knowledge limitations, including language barriers, then to me their ability to deduce which word does not belong does not represent an accurate measure of their reasoning ability, but a measure of their knowledge of the language. Than how will the cultural validity of the test be explained?
