Cultural factors are gender, ethnicity/race issues that shape a family/family heritage, traditions such as faith, expressions of dress, community, or social norms.
What factors facilitate, what factors contribute, what factors maintain, the primary focus or issue.
Exploring symptoms or consequences that are a result of the presenting problem is more in line with diagnostic assessments. It does not help the counsellor explore BPS/CRJS understanding.
