Scenario:

The management of Target is nearly ready to proceed with their global expansion into the Brazilian marketplace. The last remaining item that is needed before the strategic plan, is an understanding of any accounting issues that might come up, as well as an overall view of the supply chain in a foreign market.  Your task is to present an analysis of these areas to executives showcasing what to expect in Brazil.

Assignment:

For this assignment, your requirement is to create a presentation that describes, discusses, and analyzes accounting issues and supply chain issues when entering into a foreign market (Brazil). You will need to make recommendations in both areas.  Be sure to include the below points:

1. Present the key factors in international accounting, including any cultural differences in accounting practices.  Include issues that the management needs to know about in regard to its expansion in the Brazilian Marketplace.

2. Present your recommendations on whether to use a local management team or a corporate management in Brazil for the startup of international operations. How should they then proceed with leadership in the ongoing phases of expansion?

3.You are to have at least one chart, graph or table

Length: 6-12 slides (with a separate title and reference slide)
