Agile Software Development
This coursework is designed to provide you with experience of Agile software development approach and practices. You will work with a client brief and will be required to elicitate the requirements, justify your selection of tools and then incrementally build a prototype of the system following Agile practices.
1. Project report:
• Project overview (describe project, problem, aim and requirements)
• Technical review (use client criteria and then evaluate at least two technologies against these criteria, present a summary within a table)
• System design (~two different designs, e.g. architectural design, UI/UX, class diagram, Use case, etc)
• Evidence of Product and Sprint backlog (Screenshots from JIRA of your backlog + each of your sprints - at least two)
• Development is evidence through a max 8 mins video demo (upload to the cloud of your choice and include link within your report)
• Wordcount for report max 3,000 words
2. Individual reflection and critical evaluation:
• Reflect on your performance, development, following process and the outcome of the project
• Wordcount for individual reflection max 1,000 words
Project report recommended structure:
• Project overview (describe project, problem, aim and requirements)
• Technical review (use client criteria and then evaluate minimum two technologies against these criteria, present a summary within a table. See further tips on the next page.)
• System design (~two different designs, e.g. architectural design, UI/UX, class diagram, Use case, etc)
• Evidence of Product Backlog (Screenshot or export from JIRA (showing all the user stories in your project, whether completed or not)
• Evidence of Sprint backlog (Screenshots from JIRA for each sprint (at least two) showing the status and the owner)
• Development (Provide evidence of client's satisfaction, such as written feedback and evidence of working software through a max 8 mins video demo (see further tips on the next page) and upload to the cloud of your choice and include link within your report.
Note: CW2 - Provide evidence of sprint backlog and do the development process as well
