Rules & Regulations Regarding Term Paper
As term paper carries 15% marks, therefore term paper must contain implementation results of proposed idea. Secondly, if your term paper gets acceptance at any local conference, you will be given extra 10% marks. Furthermore, you may consult the document guidelines for term paper uploaded at LMS.
All students are bound to provide their term papers with their all research papers that have been used in writing these term papers.
You can access Research Papers on your VULMS account using link [Access HEC Library], Google Scholar and other online free available research paper repositories.
Requirements:
Following requirements should have to be completed.
a) Paper Length
Your paper is to be no less than 6 pages and no more than 12 pages.
b) Quality of Writing
The clarity and style of expression, the degree to which your paper obey the rules to formal academic grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting details like paragraph indentation and location of page breaks, are part of quality of writing. Write and edit your paper carefully for good organization, clear language with good spelling, punctuation, etc. Otherwise your grade will affect.
c) Format
Your term paper must have these sections: Abstract, Introduction, Related Work, Analysis and Conclusion. You must have to follow IEEE format strictly. No term paper will be accepted without mentioned format.
d) References
You must have to study research papers (minimum 10). There will be only research papers references allowed. No websites, html pages, books and other unauthorized materials references will be accepted.
Evaluation:
A term paper will be evaluated twice, therefore if total marks of the term paper are 15; term paper will be evaluated for 5 marks in first phase and 10 marks for second phase. It is necessary to submit a complete term paper at the end of first phase, it is required to submit term paper with all its required section of format in first phase, but remember that at the end of first phase your paper will be evaluated for 5 marks, and hence you need to put in substantial effort. Afterwards, in second phase, your paper will be evaluated finally.
