It is given that a- iron has a BCC crystal structure, an atomic radius R = 0.124 nm, and atomic weight AFe = 55.85 g/mol. Calculate the following quantities for a- iron:

a) Lattice parameter.

b) Total number of atoms in the unit cell.

c) Volume of the unit cell.

d) Volume of iron atoms in the unit cell.

e) Using results c) and d) show that the atomic packing factor of BCC is 0.68.

f) Calculate the theoretical density of - iron.
