After reviewing that argument a second time, consider the following objection: Aristotle's function argument overlooks the fact that reason is not the only ability unique to human beings: we also have the ability to laugh (risibility) and the ability to love. Critically reflect on this objection by doing one of the following: a) respond on Aristotle's behalf to the claim that the argument fails because reason is not the only function unique to human beings, b) raise a different possible objection to Aristotle's argument, or c) defend Aristotle's conclusion - that reason is the special function of human beings - with an argument different from the one Aristotle used.
