QLTY 646 Performance Management

Question 1. Critically assess the importance of performance management and measurement systems in relation to adoption and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives such as Total quality Management (TQM). Support your answer with evidence from a MENA- or UAE-based private or public sector organization. Support your answer from both theory (literature review of contemporary research) and a local organization that you are familiar with.

Question 2. Assume that you are a consultant with expertise concerned with performance management and measurement systems for different organizations. You have been approached by the management of a public or private sector organization to assist them with the design and implementation of a performance management system. Discuss the processes, choices, and challenges involved in the design and implementation of a performance management and measurement system. Support your answer from both theory (literature review of contemporary research) and a local organization that you are familiar with.
