Question:

A Dubai based Information Technology firm owned by Egyptian owner is facing issues of high turnover and absenteeism at the workplace. Upon examining the exit interview forms of employees who left the firm in the past six months, it is found that almost 80% of the employees left the firm either because of the fact that they have developed some sort of conflict with the co-workers or they think that co-workers are not supportive.

The management decided to pay heed to the matter and has hired you as a consultant for solving the matter. Critically analyze the potential causes of conflict among the co-workers. What kind of intervention do you think can be helpful in creating a conducive workplace environment?
