The economics editor of a prestigious newspaper -Jason Jackson- has written an article about the economy of country A that suffered a pandemic expressing:

"During the four quarters of the year ending in quarter Q4, both real GDP and population have been declining. The only empirical evidence available for Country A can be seen in Table B. This table shows that thirty million people have left the country due to the pandemic. Clearly things are not going well in the economy of Country A: the national economy is in recession and the standard of living has declined dramatically."
