Due to the lack of social connection, kids may not be exposed to a variety of viewpoints and may struggle to acquire critical social skills. Teacher Bias is another drawback of tracking because teachers or instructors may have predetermined views about students' skills based on their allocated track, tracking might reinforce preconceptions and prejudices. This prejudice may have an impact on students' opportunities, instructor expectations, and instructional strategies.

When assessing the efficacy and equity of tracking systems, it's critical to take these drawbacks into account. Some of the problems with tracking may be solved by using tactics that support fairness, provide chances for all kids to succeed, and develop inclusive learning environments.
