One area of my life that will benefit from using logic and critical thought is achieving my potential in my career. I have been a newly promoted Clinic Operations Manager since September of 2023 and am struggling to get comfortable in my role. When I was working as a Clinic Supervisor, I had one clinic assigned to me, and I had a good hang of things and felt "in control." The clinic I ran was successful, and my work was manageable; I had gotten comfortable. Now that I am an Operations Manager, I manage three clinics instead of one. Two of the clinics currently assigned to me have not had natural management in a long time and need to be better organized, and this has been a challenge for me. This new role I am in has made me realize how important it is for me to apply critical thinking and logic to my everyday tasks. I find myself challenged by difficult situations, employees, and functions that involve me having to assess and provide an outcome quickly. I have learned to filter out biases when dealing.
