Question

If it takes proving 'criminal intent' and 'voluntary participation' in order to prove someone guilty in a court of law, then the burden is on the defendant to prove one of those to be false if they are pleading "not guilty by reason of insanity." What are some example of crimes where one can prove that they did not "voluntarily participate" or they did not have "criminal intent" (or did not understand that what they did was wrong)?
