Credible vs Non-credible Medical Information on the Internet

Via the internet a person can now look up almost any kind of medical information imaginable. As this class focuses on learning medical terminology; you need to know what defines a medical webpage as credible or non-credible. For this discussion complete the following three parts for your first post and post them all in ONE post. Then respond to two fellow students' posts.

First, research and define what is a credible vs. non-credible medical website, and include the URL from where you found your information. (Wikipedia is a good source to start with, but it is not considered a credible academic source.)

Next, find a "credible" medical website on any medical topic of interest to you, a) post the name of the cite and the complete URL, b) and share with your fellow students why it is considered a credible website.

Finally, find a "non-credible" medical website on the topic you selected for 2 and post the name of the cite and the complete URL, b) and share with your fellow students why it is considered a non-credible website.

Finally, when you respond to two fellow students' posts: Do you agree that the websites they posted are credible and non-credible as they posted them, and why or why not?
