Assessment Task

In groups of 3, you must and select a product in the form of a tangible good and prepare a report that:

1. Accurately identifies a product and discusses the background of the company and the main target markets.

2. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of marketing mix theory and concepts and ability to apply that knowledge through a comprehensive, critical, and insightful evaluation.

3. Creatively applies key marketing theory and concepts to formulate recommendations, one of which focuses on improving product's marketing.

You must also present your report to the class summarising your analysis, key findings, and recommendations.

Products that you can choose

You may choose any product, except, a product or service produced by Amazon, Apple, Coca-Cola, Focebook, Google, McDonald's, Nike or Samsung. Your course lecturer and course tutor will assist you to choose a product during class time if you would like assistance.
