Case: The age group for this activity I have chosen is 4-5-year-olds.

The Type of Blocks, I have selected are Large brightly colored lightweight blocks.

Activity: Building a castle with blocks

Objectives: The two objectives of this activity are to improve fine motor skills and encourage creative thinking.

Teaching Strategies: I would introduce the activity by inviting the children to work with their peers to build a castle with the blocks. I could also use a demonstration to show the children how to construct a castle with the blocks.

Open-ended Questions:
-What kind of castle do you want to build?
-What shapes do you need to make this castle?
-How can you add details to make the castle look realistic?

Props: I would use a selection of additional props such as toy people, animals, and flags. These props can be used to create scenes inside the castle or to decorate the outside.

Method of Evaluation: I would use a qualitative evaluation method to assess the children's understanding of the activity. I would observe the children's work and interactions with one another and ask questions to get a better understanding of their thought processes. This method of evaluation would give me an insight into the children's creative thinking and their understanding of the activity
