A. We know school counselors have faced many challenges through the pandemic, heated national debates, and your contributions in the past years have been essential! So, we'd like to ask, how are you? I was in education as a truancy officer during the pandemic, Now I became a school social worker. The pandemic has been challanging in terms of motivating students to attend school and re-engage them in school.

H. Please read, " Promoting LGBTQ Student Well-Being at School ,"by Roberto L. Abreu, Adriana G. McEachern, Jennifer Geddes Hall and Maureen C. Kenny, which addresses 5 myths about supporting LGBTQ students. Which of the 5 myths do you see in your practice as a school social worker, and how do you respond? If you do not see any of the myths in your work with students, choose one myth and, based on your work, share how you would dispel that myth.
