Everyone may agree that the change should happen and have the tools to do so, but without any driving force or motivation to make meaningful change happen in a reasonable time frame, often times the change effort will be slow to get started, if at all. Perhaps you have known for several weeks that the tires on your car were nearing the end of their life span. You knew you needed to replace them. But, it takes time to research new tires, make an appointment, take time out of your work day for the appointment, and the tires are expensive. So you put it off. On the way home from work one day, one of your tires goes flat. Suddenly you have strong motivation to get your tires replaced.
