Creating Proactive Learning Environments thru Classroom Climate, Planning and Organization 

We have been focusing on proactive strategies for supporting student learning and encouraging appropriate behaviour in the classroom.  For this post, please address the following:

1. How (in what ways) does careful planning, preparation, and scheduling/establishing routines set the stage optimal learning and minimizing the occurrence of misbehaviour? (Rationale for or value in focusing on prevention and being planful and proactive)
2. What are some of the proactive strategies that you found helpful and would consider implementing in your classroom? (Proactive Strategies)
3. What is the role of classroom climate and rapport in this process? (Role of Rapport)
4. How can you be 'proactive' in responding to misbehaviour? (Proactively strategies for addressing Misbehaviour)
5. Finally, what are some challenges or barriers you think might face? (Things that might get in the way)
