Mission Statement - The program mission statement is the back-bone of everything you do in your program. This assignment involves writing a mission statement for a program you would like to own/direct.

This paper need to include answers to the following questions:

What is the purpose of your organization?
How do you achieve this purpose?
Who is your target clientele? Are you sensitive to your clients'/customers' needs and dedicated to their satisfaction?
What is your specialty?
How are you visible in the community? Are you committed to the enhancement of the community of which you are a part? Do you contribute to its economic vitality and consider the environmental impact of your growth? Are you a symbol of leadership and active participation in community affairs?
What action step will you take this year? How will you distinguish yourself from your competitors?

Once you have answered these questions, create a mission statement using the information gathered in your answers that describes:

Your purpose
Your niche
What makes your organization unique?

Research a number of programs for ideas to fit your educational mission, Chapter 2 and page 187 of textbook, for academic content and new learning. Keep in mind research examples are not to be cut and pasted or used verbatim.
