Background
In an early childhood setting, every activity can be geared towards learning, even free play! Focusing on specific activities that foster meaningful language use is key to creating an environment of active learning. Careful lesson planning that involves knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and activities help support this type of environment.

Complete all sections including specific instructional goals, detailed steps, and assessment.
