Assignment 1:
This exercise consists of creating a project plan for a future project. Working in Microsoft Project, you will create a task list, including summary tasks and their sub-tasks, create links between tasks and their predecessors, and set up some resources. Think of a project you have in the future or a project you would consider undertaking. Set a start date for your project of August 1, 2015. Create at least 15 tasks, including the duration, and any predecessors that make logical sense in the progression of the project. The project must include at least 2 summary tasks with the rest as sub-tasks. Create and set up at least 5 resources, with at least one resource per type (work, material, and cost). Assign these resources to tasks to appropriate tasks in your project.
Assignment 2:
This exercise begins with a list of tasks for a wedding project. Working in Microsoft Project, you will create the task list, including summary tasks and their sub-tasks, create links between tasks and their predecessors, add resources, and make changes to the original plan.
A. Change the Project from being scheduled from a Start date, to being scheduled from a Finish Date. The Finish Date is the date of the wedding, June 12th, 2017.
B. Enter the following tasks, including the specified duration, specified predecessors, and specified resources. Tasks that are bolded are summary tasks and the indented tasks are sub-tasks. Task List
